The Yong’an Snow Forest Recreation Area, covering an area of fifteen hectares, is located in Xinwu, Taoyuan, and is the first coastal recreation area on the northwest coast of Xinwu Township. In addition to forest and seaside landscapes, the park also features the only snowfield in Southeast Asia that snows all year round. Regardless of the outdoor temperature, visitors can experience the northern pleasure of snowball fights, snowman building, and snow sliding here. In the evening, one can also climb the Sea View Tower to enjoy the caress of the sea breeze and the sound of the waves, which is very pleasant. The area is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
