Yuan Zhonggang Wetland Park, once a vast area of fishing ponds, is part of the naval land. Due to the development plan of the naval base, the military reclaimed the original fishing pond land and repurposed it into a wetland park. The park boasts a rich ecosystem of mangroves, with a multitude of plants, insects, and birds inhabiting the area. In addition, the park features wooden boardwalks, allowing visitors to easily enjoy the beautiful natural scenery within. The park is open all year round on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
