In front of the tower lies Chiang Kai-shek’s resting room, with the main hall solemnly housing the portrait of his mother, Wang Tai. The plaque at the entrance, ‘Ciming Tower,’ is personally inscribed by Chiang Kai-shek. Inside the tower, there is a massive copper bell that has been hanging since the tower’s completion. The spirit tablet of Wang Tai is enshrined in a palatial villa in front of the tower. The hilltop where the tower stands boasts vast open spaces and lawns, adorned with plum and cypress trees, and stone tables and chairs for visitors to rest. The site is open year-round from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
