The Zhen’an Palace, located in Maming Mountain, primarily serves as a place of worship for the Five-Year-Thousand-Year-Old Deity. It holds a significant position as the belief center for this deity in the Yunlin and Chiayi regions, standing on par with the Dongshi Xiantian Palace.
In addition to its role as a worship center, the Zhen’an Palace has plans to construct the ‘Five-Year-Thousand-Year-Old Deity Park’. The park’s interior is designed to showcase a variety of unique geological features and garden landscapes. These include alpine stone forests, the impressive Nine-Dragon Giant Ship, the Magpie Bridge landscape, and both large and small waterfalls. The park also features stone cave tunnels that add to its natural beauty and appeal.
Furthermore, the park is adorned with numerous stone carvings depicting various deities. Among these are the Thirty-Six Heavenly Generals, the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiends, and the Sixty Tai Sui Star Monarchs, each adding a touch of spiritual significance to the park’s landscape.
