Lusihu Lake, like Biwako Lake, is a precious estuarine coastal wetland. It is named because herons often come to inhabit here. Lusihu Lake is much larger in area than Biwako Lake. It also has lush greenery and overlapping mountains, which is more poetic. Although it is called a lake, it is actually very small. Originally it was a swamp and later it was turned into a lake after being tidied up. There are egrets on the other side of the lake. It is very quiet and the water is very clear. There is a special bird-watching house by the lake where you can secretly observe with a telephoto lens. Open all year round and all day.
