Oxford College, also known as Lixuetang Da Shuyuan, is structured in a traditional Chinese quadrangle layout with two main buildings and two side protector buildings. Each side features a protective room, and the architecture is characterized by traditional hard mountain tile roof and Western-style parapet walls and dormer windows. This building is a fusion of Chinese and Western elements and is named ‘Oxford College’ in English and ‘Lixuetang Da Shuyuan’ in Chinese, commonly referred to as ‘Oxford College’. It was personally selected and supervised by Dr. George Leslie Mackay.
The college offers courses in Bible, chemistry, zoology, astronomy, and physiology, cultivating numerous professionals in these fields. The visiting hours are from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Mondays, and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays to Fridays.
