The Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area is located in the central part of Taiwan Island. It is a famous maple-viewing destination in Taiwan. Every autumn and winter when the maple leaves turn red, the mountainous areas in this area are completely dyed. People seem to be in a colorful fairy tale world, which is pleasing to the eye.
The area where the Aowanda Forest Recreation Area is located has an altitude of 1200-2600 meters. There are scenic spots such as Bihu Lake, Wanda, Qin’ai, Pine Forest, Qu Bing, Youqing Valley, Aowanda, and the ruins of maple forests. It is a mountain tourist area with a pleasant environment.
