Zhinan Village is situated at an average altitude of approximately 508 meters, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 93%. On both sides of the village, there are vast terraced fields that are truly spectacular.
Behind the village, there are over two hundred towering ancient trees, including rare species such as maple, ginkgo, cryptomeria, and chestnut, some of which are over 900 years old.
In late autumn, the golden ginkgo and fiery maple trees paint the area as a ‘high mountain style oil painting with rich ink’, making it an ideal spot for maple leaf viewing.
The ‘Seven Ancients’ – water, houses, trees, cultural relics, tombs, surnames, and the village itself – endow Zhinan Village with a unique charm. Visitors can both enjoy sightseeing and leisure vacations, as well as experience the pleasures of rural life.
