Maling Ancient Path is located in the Maling Mountain, at the border of Jiande in the eastern part of Zhejiang’s mountainous area and the western part of Pujiang County. The path meanders along the mountain body, streams, and terraced fields, passing through forests, and is adorned with ancient bridges, ancestral halls, celebrities’ ancient residences, ancient sites, and villages. Particularly noteworthy is the Xishan Bridge, built during the Song Dynasty, which is a nationally protected cultural relic.
The core natural landscapes of Maling Ancient Path are primarily concentrated in Maling Mountain, which is composed of volcanic rocks and Danxia landforms, with peculiar peaks and grotesque rocks visible throughout.
