The April Day Rhododendron Theme Garden is located on the south side of Jinshan in Shuikou Township, Changxing County, Huzhou City. It is an ecological and cultural park presented with ingenuity in line with the concept of ‘lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets’. It complements the ancient tea culture of the ‘Dayong Tribute Tea Courtyard’ under Guzhu Mountain, which is 2 kilometers away.
The park covers an area of 330 mu and is presented in seven scenic spots: Rhododendron Kingdom, Dreamland, Jinshan Grassland, Flower Island for Watching Fish, Luxuriant Bamboo Groves, Fuxi Farmland, and Jinsha Lake. The scenery of the park is picturesque all year round. In spring, there are cherry blossoms accompanied by drizzle. In summer, rhododendrons are everywhere in full bloom. In autumn, golden osmanthus stands proud against the frost. In winter, green bamboos welcome the wind and snow.Opening hours: Open all year round from 09:00 to 16:30.
