Anping City God Temple is located in Anping District, Tainan City. It was once a temple where naval officers and soldiers worshipped. Now, it stands alongside Anping Guanyin Pavilion, Anping Tianhou Temple, and Anping Da Zhong Temple as one of the four major public temples in the Anping area. Its history dates back to the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, although the current structure was rebuilt in 1989.
