Established in January 1971, the Insect Museum of Chenggong High School was initially founded on the insect specimens and materials collected by teacher Chen Weishou. Over time, it has evolved into a research and conservation center dedicated to Taiwan’s butterfly resources. Today, the museum is home to approximately 30,000 specimens, offering a rich array of biological resources for educational purposes in primary and secondary schools.
The museum is open year-round, operating from Monday to Saturday, with visiting hours from 10:00 to 16:00. For the convenience of all visitors, the museum offers accessibility services such as wheelchair-accessible parking, entrances, and restrooms.
