Caishan, also known as Shou Mountain, was formerly called Dagou Mountain and Dagushan. It stands on the western coastal side of Kaohsiung and serves as the city’s natural barrier, falling within the protected and restricted area. This nature park is located in the western foothills of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, with the area above 10 meters in elevation in Gushan District and the eastern part of the western coast of Caishan defined as the scope of Caishan Nature Park. It is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
