Checheng Train Station, known as the beautiful station, is located in Checheng Village below Mingtan Dam. It is one of the only three remaining branch lines of Taiwan Railways. It is loved by tourists with sightseeing trains. The entire Jiji Branch Line was built in 1919. It stretches 29.8 kilometers from Ershui in Changhua to Checheng in Nantou. During the 921 Earthquake, Checheng Train Station was severely damaged. The current station was renovated later. In the renovation process, mostly logs are used as materials. Not only is the station repackaged with logs on the main building, but even the square open space in front of the station is paved with logs. Opening hours: Open all year round from 8:00 to 18:00.
