Chengtian Zen Temple

Chengtian Zen Temple, located in Tucheng City, was founded by the eminent monk Master Guangqin and is a well-known Buddhist temple in Northern Taiwan.


The temple is situated on a hillside, with lush gardens and a beautiful environment. The white walls and green tiles of the buildings exude an atmosphere of solemnity and reverence. On Sundays, there is a regular ceremony leading the faithful in chanting scriptures.


From here, one can enjoy panoramic views of several mountain ranges and the picturesque Tamsui River. Many people visit on weekends for hiking and exercise. During the tung flower season in April and May each year, a steady stream of flower enthusiasts flock to this place.


The temple is open all year round from 8:00 to 15:30.
