Chongqing Temple was established during the Kangxi period. It is located in the back alley of the current Tainan National Museum of Literature. During the Qianlong period, it was known as one of the seven temples and eight shrines. Nowadays, Chongqing Temple is open to Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism as a place of practice. Opening hours: Open from 7:30 to 18:00 all year round.
