Crescent Bay

The water level in the Sun Moon Lake area has been continuously falling in recent years. As a result, grassland mud ditches can now be seen around the lake’s shore. Beside the curved waterfront of Crescent Bay, a large circle of gravel is exposed. The distinct and layered colors resemble a ‘ring cake,’ making it an alternative wonder. This natural phenomenon is open for viewing all year round and is accessible throughout the day.
