The Nanmen Crystal Church in Tainan, which is built by the Yunlin-Chiayi South Tourism Bureau to create a wedding scene, is set against the backdrop of the salt fields. Surrounded by shallow pools, visitors can appreciate the beautiful scenery of the church reflecting in the water under the clear sky.
The Crystal Church draws inspiration from the Sydney Opera House in Australia and the St. Laguna Chapel in Guam. It integrates these images and commissions a designer for construction, with a cost of approximately 13 million New Taiwan dollars.
Currently, most of the scenic facilities in the park, including the Love Ice Pavilion, Love Happiness Café, and the romantic Crystal Church, have been completed. Another major feature, the Salt Crystal Church, was also completed in mid-October.
The opening hours are Saturday-Sunday from 09:30 to 18:30; and Monday-Friday from 09:30 to 17:30, open all year round.
