Cui Lu Ancient Trail is located in Taroko National Park and is part of the eastern section of the Hehuan Yue Ling Trail. The currently restored and open section of the ancient trail starts near Yanzikou and ends at Cimu Bridge, with a total length of approximately 10 kilometers.
The trail is relatively long, with some steep sections requiring the use of ropes to ascend. The ancient cliff area is particularly dangerous, with the mountain almost vertical, making the journey a challenge both physically and mentally. However, the views after reaching the top are incredibly captivating. To challenge the Cui Lu Ancient Trail, one must first apply for park admission documents and a mountain entry permit at the Taroko National Park Administration Office. The trail is open year-round from 7:00 to 10:00.Cui Lu Ancient Trail
