Dadukou Forest Park is located in the lower half of the Zhongliang Mountain Range and is also one of the ‘green lungs’ of the main city. It was completed and opened in December 1986, covering a total area of 120 acres. The park is divided into several areas, including the Youth Garden, Senior Garden, Lake District, and Entertainment Area, with water surfaces and green spaces occupying the majority of the total area. Over the past two decades, the park has played a significant role in the leisure, entertainment, and fitness activities of local residents, and in recent years, it has received about 130,000 visitors annually. The Forest Park is close to Tiaodeng Town, has a narrow and elongated shape, is 9.3 kilometers long from north to south, 1.2 kilometers wide from east to west, and has an elevation of up to 529 meters, which is much higher than the terrain of the main city. During the summer, taking some free time, for example, to walk or exercise in the park, is also a great place for people to escape the heat. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
