The Daode Yuan is located by the Jinshi Lake in Fudingjin, Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City. The entire palace is majestic and magnificent, resplendent and magnificent. The Daode Yuan faces northwest and is located in the southeast. In front is the sparkling Jinshi Lake, and behind is the beautiful Lion Mountain. The entire building adopts the southern China style. The cut-and-paste on the eaves is intricate and fine. The carvings and paintings in the temple are all remarkable. In addition to the front, middle, and back halls, the Daode Yuan also has the bell and drum towers in the east and west halls. The front hall is named ‘Taiji Sacred Hall’, which enshrines the Jade Emperor. It is accompanied by the North and South Dipper Stars and also enshrines the Three Officials Emperor. On the second floor on the right is the Wandeng Auditorium, which enshrines Yuanming Doumu Tianzun and the sages of past generations. It can be regarded as the general temple of Taoist gods.
