The Lover’s Lake, originally known as ‘Wuyi Bei’, is located on Dawulun Mountain. It is formed by the convergence of multiple mountain streams. It is the only highland lake in Keelung. The nearby area is densely forested. The lake area is planned with mountain-circling and lake-circling trails.
Driving from Lover’s Lake to Dawulun Mountain for about 10 minutes, one can reach Dawulun Fort. It is an important defensive fortress on the west side of Keelung. The Qing government had dispatched personnel to garrison here.
Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 17:00 all year round.
