The Daxueshan National Forest Recreation Area, originally planned from the Daxueshan Forest Farm, is located in Heping District, Taichung City. The scenic area is rich in forest resources, and the vegetation types change from subtropical to warm temperate, temperate, and cold temperate as the altitude increases, showcasing the essence of Taiwan’s natural forests. It is open to visitors all year round from 06:30 to 17:00.
