Da Yu Ling offers a serene beauty embraced by mountains, with a view of the towering cliffs of Pingfeng Mountain, Nanhu Mountain, Zhongyangjian, and Shimen. Overlooking the Liwu River Valley, one’s heart and mind are instantly broadened.

During the annual snow season, many people are attracted to the mountain to enjoy the snow. In autumn, a 15-minute drive towards Lishan leads to the stunning Red Maple Valley, where the red maple leaves are truly breathtaking.

Da Yu Ling is situated at an altitude of 2565 meters, with fragile geology and rock layers that are mostly in the form of flakes and debris. The name ‘Da Yu Ling’ was derived from the arduous task of carving through the mountains, akin to the legendary Da Yu’s water control efforts.

The high mountain tea grown in Da Yu Ling is considered a high-grade tea in Taiwan. The tea region is located in the high-altitude Central Mountain Range, with large temperature differences between day and night, and surrounded by clouds and mist. The soil is rich in organic matter, resulting in tea leaves that produce a clear and transparent tea soup with a sweet and delicious taste.

Da Yu Ling is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
