Taroko Station is located in Taimali Township, Taitung County. Due to low business volume, passenger services were terminated on July 1, 2006, and the station was officially closed on October 1 of the same year.
However, its unique geographical environment has made it a famous tourist spot. The bright red railings of the railway tracks are set against the backdrop of the vast blue sea and sky, offering a picturesque view. Standing on the platform, one can gaze out over the expansive Pacific Ocean, enjoying the beautiful scenery and pleasant environment. The station is open all year round from 9:00 to 18:30.
