Er Yan Ping Trail is an approximately 800-meter-long hiking trail. Along the way, it is densely lined with lush green bamboo. At the entrance of the trail, there is a viewing platform. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the distant mountains and waters from here, which is quite spectacular. The round trip of Er Yan Ping Trail takes about 50 minutes. The path is interspersed with verdant stone bamboo forests and tea gardens. From the viewing platform at the entrance of the trail, one can overlook the Jia Nan Plain and the Ba Zhang Stream, capturing the essence of both the hustle and the landscape. It is a cloud waterfall viewing spot along the Alishan Highway. The cloud waterfall and mist occasionally appear, astonishing visitors. Ascending the steps, from the山顶 pavilion, one can overlook the beautiful tea gardens right beneath their feet. The trail is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
