Fo Guang Shan, located in Kaohsiung City, is a renowned Buddhist site both domestically and internationally, and is home to a Buddhist university. The monastery’s architecture is grand in scale, with the Mahavira Hall, Great Compassion Hall, Great Wisdom Hall, and Great Vow Hall being the four main structures, elegantly distributed throughout the park. In addition, there are numerous gilded Buddha statues, exquisitely crafted.
