Zhonglun Fucheng Palace, located in Songshan District of Taipei, has its origins dating back to the second year of the Daoguang Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Seven surnames from the Zhonglun area of Dagalei Fort, feeling the silent protection of the deities, built a temple at the headwaters of the water canal, on Zhonglun 410. It wasn’t until the Renwu year of the Guangxu Emperor that the construction of Fucheng Palace was completed with collective funding. The temple faces an ancient pond, surrounded by mountains and water, with the deity seated in majesty, its divine power prominent, and the protection of the territory beautiful. In 1975, it was relocated to its current site, featuring a two-story palace-style architecture, grand and imposing, with a fresh and clean temple complex.
