Gangtiangong, located on Zhongshan Road in Hualien County, has a history of several centuries. The temple complex is divided into several halls, including the Front Hall, the Hall of the Great Mother, the Hall of Guanyin, the Hall of the Tai Sui, and the Hall of the God of Wealth. The entire temple is adorned with grandeur and majestic construction, surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is considered a lucky place by the local people, and on the 18th and 19th days of the third lunar month, and the third day of the eleventh lunar month, the temple is filled with a large crowd, with thriving incense. The temple’s pilgrim building can accommodate more than two thousand visitors to stay overnight and offers a clean dining area, which is well-received by tourists. The temple is open all year round from 9:00 to 17:00.
