Golden King Palace, a temple in Penghu, was formerly known as De’an Palace. The exact time of its construction is unknown, but it is said to have originated from the instructions of Prince Wenwang of Fenggui during the late Qing Dynasty, who appointed the Lord of Ten Thousand Good Deeds to guard the pass. During the Taisho era, when Wenwang Temple was expanded, the three deities of Jin, Qiu, and Luo were transferred to guard and preside, with the main deity being the Golden Prince. In 2007, the temple underwent a renovation costing approximately 18 million yuan, and after its completion, a grand fire ceremony was held in 2009, which was a sensational event.
