Guandu Nature Park is located at the confluence of the Keelung River and the Tamsui River, specifically in the low-lying area at the southwest corner of the Guandu Plain within the Taipei Basin. Over the years, it has been an important refueling station or wintering ground for thousands of migratory waterfowl. In 1996, the local authorities officially established this marsh wetland as Guandu Nature Park. The park is open year-round from Saturday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
