Guangsheng Hall in Shakang Village primarily worships the three lords of Ye, Zhu, and Zhang, along with Kang and Jin, collectively known as the ‘Five Kings’. The sacrificial rites are overseen by an elder chosen from each settlement, with a management committee of 10-15 members handling administrative affairs. There are no parades for the kings; the annual sacrifices include the worship of the Five Kings on the 7th day of the 4th lunar month, and the processions on the 15th day of the first and tenth lunar months. The temple is situated at the front of a broad thoroughfare, which serves as a replacement for the temple’s courtyard and is also the central location of the entire village.
