The main deity enshrined in the temple is ‘Fude Zhengshen’, commonly known as ‘Tudigong’. Fude Palace was built in 1639 AD and has a history of more than 200 years. As the saying goes, ‘A mountain need not be high; it is famous so long as there is an immortal. A temple need not be old; it is spiritual so long as there is a deity.’ After many renovations and reconstructions over the past century, Gaoshanyan Fude Palace is still resplendent and has a prosperous incense. Also because of the great power of Fude Zhengshen, believers’ requests are always answered.
