Due to the perennial influence of the northeast monsoon and the erosion of waves, the natural landscape of Heping Island is unique.
Qian Die Fu: The tofu rock terrain of Qian Die Fu is formed as the rock is eroded by the tide all year round and turns into square rocks. Looking from a distance, it looks like terraced fields scattered everywhere, which is a magnificent sight.

Fan Zi Cave: Fan Zi Cave is located near Qian Die Fu. The cave is more than 20 meters long. There are ancient Dutch characters left on the stone wall in Fan Zi Cave, which has now become one of the historical sites in Keelung.

Ten Thousand People Pile: The Ten Thousand People Pile is located on the rocky shore at the northern end of Heping Island. Due to the perennial erosion and weathering by the sea, many strange rocks are formed, resembling baths, petals, dressing tables, etc. The stones scattered around are like human heads, so it is called the Ten Thousand People Pile, with unique landscapes.

Although Heping Island is constantly blown by the sea breeze, algal plants (porphyra, nostoc, pelvetia siliquosa, brassica juncea var. utilis, lactuca indica, gelidium amansii, bangia fusco-purpurea) and marine resources are quite abundant. For example, hairtail, elephant fish, herring, yellow chicken, lobster and other species will swim around Heping Island according to different seasons, making it a good place for people to go fishing.

In addition, there are also service facilities such as camping areas, barbecue areas, boating, and aerial bicycles in Heping Island Seaside Park, increasing the fun on the island.

Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 19:00 from May 1st to October 31st; open from 08:00 to 18:00 from November 1st to April 30th.
