The Hualien Railway Cultural Park was formerly the early headquarters in charge of the Huadong Railway. It was responsible for the railway and highway projects in eastern Taiwan until the Hualien Station was relocated in 1988. The Hualien Railway Cultural Park is hailed as the only remaining complete narrow-gauge railway base site in Taiwan. Currently, it is set up as a multi-cultural leisure park. The main equipment and cultural relics display areas are concentrated in Hall One and Hall Two. Hall One of the Hualien Railway Cultural Park is located next to the current Hualien Bus Terminal. The quadrangle-shaped wooden building has a beautiful shape, and the roof with a Western-style spire is quite special. This place was the headquarters (outpost) in charge of the Huadong Railway in the early days.

Opening hours: Open from Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday throughout the year, from 10:00 to 18:00.
