The building of the hospital was designed by Mackay. Although it is a Minnan-style civilian residence, it is matched with Western-style round arched windows. The building that combines Chinese and Western styles has a simple feeling. Inside the hospital, facilities such as the operating table, medicine bottles, and hospital beds used for medical practice at that time are still retained. Cultural relics such as the fireplace, door clock, and Mackay’s organ in the museum are also preserved quite completely. Moreover, there is a small coffee shop here. When you are tired from walking, you can sit down and have a cup of coffee and quietly enjoy this rare tranquility.
Opening hours: Open from Monday to Friday all year round, 13:00 – 17:00.
