Geng Gallery is proud to present Ji Jiahua’s latest solo exhibition titled ‘Profound and Subtle,’ featuring his recent new paintings. The term ‘Profound and Subtle’ aims to express the confusion and bewilderment felt in complex and challenging situations. Ji Jiahua creates depth in space through the construction of orderly lines on the canvas, using bright colors and textures to make each brushstroke a trace of emotion. If minimal abstraction is the artistic vocabulary of the artist, then exploring space, time, and life is the theme he continuously delves into and interprets. ‘Profound and Subtle’ is a reflection and contemplation of contemporary life situations born out of this creative context. The exhibition is open from November 23rd to January 18th, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
