Yongchang Palace in Jiali, Tainan, was initially established by Fujian Tong’an compatriots who followed Zheng Chenggong to Taiwan. It primarily worships Zhao Shengfu Tian Dijun Zhao Yun, with Zhongtan Marshal and Xuantian God on the left and right, making it the ancestral temple of Zhao Yun.
During the Three Kingdoms period, temples dedicated to historical figures are common, with Guan Yu’s Guan Di Temple being the most prevalent. Others include Zhuge Liang’s Wu Hou Temple and Zhang Fei’s Zhang Fei Temple, among others.
