Yongchang Palace, located in Jiali, Tainan, was originally established by Fujian Tong’an compatriots who followed Zheng Chenggong to Taiwan. This temple primarily worships Zhao Shengfu Tian Dijun, also known as Zhao Yun, with Zhongtan Marshal and Xuan Tian Di on the sides. As such, it is considered the ancestral temple of Zhao Yun.
Typically, temples dedicated to figures from the Three Kingdoms period are more commonly associated with Guan Yu’s Guan Di Temple. Other notable temples include Zhuge Liang’s Wu Hou Temple and Zhang Fei’s Zhang Fei Temple. Among these, temples dedicated to Zhao Yun are relatively rare.
The ancestral temple of Zhao Yun Temple is Zhengding Zhao Yun Temple.
