The rock strata on the southeastern coast of the island have been eroded to form a marine erosion platform. On the eastern and northeastern coasts of the island, there are darker basalts. On the marine erosion platform outside the accumulation layer, stone fish traps are lined up in close succession and emerge from the sea surface after low tide.
