In the past, the Amis people utilized the natural terrain here to salt the sea water, and it was very convenient for them to pick up salt on their way back home after hunting. The Amis people used to call it ‘KAROROAN’, derived from the place name ‘Jialuwan’. On the north side of the beach, there is a Baraki rest area, which is an excellent spot to overlook the bay. The entire Jiuzhai Bay’s smooth curves and white waves continuously crash against the shore, creating a parallel line of beauty that is all captured in the eye. The beach offers a variety of water activities such as jet skis, speedboat tours, kayaking, parasailing, leisure boats, banana boats, water trampolines, and towable rings that are thrilling and fun. Additionally, 20 distinctive wooden cabins have been built to allow visitors to experience the pulse of nature even while inside the cabins.
