The Jiuru Sanshan King Temple is situated in Jiuming Village, Jiuru Township, Pingtung County. It is famous for bridging the Min and Hakka ethnic groups, as well as connecting Jiuru Township with Linluo and Changzhi Townships. The temple is also known for the legendary tale of Jiuru’s Great King marrying a woman from the Xu family in Linluo and its unique customs.
Within the temple, the main hall displays a hanging plaque inscribed with the words ‘Wei Zhen Hai Dong’. This plaque was respectfully established by the disciples of the village during the Jia Yue of the Qianlong Wuxu year.
