Jun Garden is the final resting place of Teresa Teng. The garden is divided into two parts: a square and a cemetery. The square is larger than the cemetery. It features an embedded piano with only its grand keys visible above ground. At the center of the square stands a full-length statue of Teresa Teng, with arms outstretched and a gentle smile. The garden also includes a specially designed musical note garden, where small shrubs are arranged to form musical note symbols, reflecting Teresa Teng’s love for music during her lifetime.
At the entrance to the cemetery, there is a jukebox that contains ten of Teresa Teng’s hit songs, including ‘When Will You Come Again’ and ‘Stories of a Small Town’, which are played on a loop throughout the day. The tranquil mountainside is filled with sweet and elegant melodies, as if echoing the perpetual remembrance of her fans.
The sarcophagus in Jun Garden is polished from black marble. On the right, there is a large stone inscribed with the word ‘Jun Garden’ by the current chairman of the People’s First Party, James Soong. On the left stands a stone tablet engraved with the same epitaph in multiple languages: ‘Here lies a star who dedicated her life to the art of singing’.
The garden is open all year round with full-day service facilities, including accessible parking and accessible entrances. Visitors will find a continuous stream of people and an ever-present array of fresh flowers laid by her fans at the tombstone engraved with her image.强制约束:
