Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park is located at the junction of Nanzi District in Kaohsiung City and Qiaotou in Kaohsiung County, covering an area of approximately 35 hectares. It boasts vast and flat grasslands along with forested green spaces. The park also features meticulously landscaped swimming pools, ecological exhibition rooms, family game rooms, and a library among other facilities.
A prominent landmark within the park is the ‘Golden Rooster Sundial,’ one of the twelve zodiac statues, which stands in the central square.
