Neimen Zizhu Temple is located in Guantingli, Neimen District, Kaohsiung City, on Zhongzheng Road. The temple has been established for over three hundred years and is the central temple for Guanyin worship in the province. The main deity, Guanyin Buddha, was originally the protector of the Guo family. Due to the remarkable ‘flying stove’ miracle, the villagers collectively funded the temple’s construction. With its divine power spreading far and wide, believers from the north and south have been coming to worship in increasing numbers. Neimen Zizhu Temple has become a historically significant and large-scale ‘Guanyin Mother Temple’ in the province. The temple is open all year round from 05:00 to 21:00.
