The ‘KAVALAN Whisky Distillery’ is located in Yuanshan Township, Yilan, and was inaugurated on December 4, 2008. The King Car team utilizes the clear waters from the Central Mountain Range and the Snow Mountain Range, under the influence of the Pacific humidity and the Snow Mountain winds, to create the rich and charming flavor of KAVALAN whisky.
At the ‘KAVALAN Whisky Distillery’, visitors can not only experience the whisky-making process firsthand but also taste its rich flavor. Professional guides are available within the distillery to lead tours of the Yilan whisky production line and the tasting area, where visitors can sample the flavors of KAVALAN whisky. On the second floor, there is the Brown Coffee Shop, where one can rest and enjoy coffee and meals. The distillery is open year-round from 9:00 to 18:00. Accessibility services include wheelchair-accessible parking, entrances, and restrooms. A must-see tip is that King Car Enterprise opens its whisky production factory to the public, offering sightseeing tours and shopping, dining, and other services.
