JiLong Island Lighthouse is constructed with brick and features a white exterior. Originally equipped with a white and red fixed light kerosene lamp, the red light has been changed to a white light.
The lighthouse originally had a red light arc to indicate the position of the Xinlai Reef outside the Keelung Port.
It is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
