The Lanyu Cultural Relics Museum can be reached after a short walk from the Lanyu Airport. It belongs to the Fishermen’s Tribe of Hongtou Village. On the first floor of the cultural relics museum, there are displays and sales of island artworks. For example, pendants with ship’s eye patterns, necklaces with the collared scops owl (a unique owl in Lanyu), etc. The prices are not expensive. The second floor is the cultural relics display area, where there are many preserved artworks symbolizing Lanyu culture. They are all very attractive and worth looking at for a while. The Lan’en Cultural Relics Museum also has an exhibition area of underground houses, which is also very interesting.
