Yeyou Village serves as the administrative center of the island, where the township office, national middle school, and bus terminal are all located.
Kaiyuan Harbor on the edge of the village is an important gateway for external transportation, with regular traffic boats operating between here and Taitung Fugang Fishing Port.
There is a lighthouse on the north side, from which one can enjoy a panoramic view of Lanyu’s mountain and sea scenery.
Langdao Village showcases the traditional architectural style of the island, where visitors can appreciate the semi-underground thatched huts built by the Yam people.
Please respect the local culture when entering the village for sightseeing, and be polite to avoid offending local taboos.
Wukong Cave is named after its five massive sea-eroded caves, with the fourth and fifth caves being interconnected.
On the cliffs next to the caves, traditional handcrafted pottery depicting biblical stories is embedded, showcasing the artistic talent of the Yam people.
The unique rock formations of Lanyu Island, shaped by long-term weathering and sea erosion, include various peculiarly shaped reefs such as Crocodile Rock, Tank Rock, Jade Maiden Rock, Hen Rock, Frog Rock, Double Lion Rock, Helmet Rock, Elephant Trunk Rock, and Dragon Head Rock, among others.
The opening hours are subject to the daily operating conditions.
