The Lanyu Lighthouse is situated on a hill on the northwest side of the island. Visitors are welcome to explore the lighthouse, but they must first ascend the winding mountain roads. It is naturally impossible to ride a bicycle up, and having a scooter or an electric vehicle would be much more convenient. The lighthouse is open all year round, with full-day accessibility, although specific operating conditions are subject to the daily opening status.
