Recently, I had the pleasure of stepping into the Lehuo Outdoor Base located within Changxing Island Country Park, experiencing a unique indoor team building journey in Shanghai. In this fast-paced urban life, occasional escapes and deep team cohesion are particularly precious. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, a series of creative indoor activities brought us, a group of busy partners, closer together amidst laughter and sweat.
Our team building journey began with an intense and exciting ‘Desert Gold Rush’ activity. Entering the meticulously arranged simulated desert scene, we were divided into several exploration teams. Facing limited resources and unknown challenges, each team needed to devise the best route and strategy to uncover the most ‘gold mines’. This not only tested our team collaboration skills but also stimulated everyone’s wisdom and decision-making abilities, teaching us to communicate and trust in simulated difficulties.
Next, we moved to the indoor roller coaster area. Unlike outdoor thrills, the roller coaster here uses high-tech means to simulate real speed and passion without worrying about weather changes. As the roller coaster slowly ascended, followed by a rapid dive and rotation, screams and laughter intertwined. At that moment, all stress seemed to be released, leaving only pure joy and team coordination.
Finally, we engaged in the ‘Bean Art Battle’, a contest of creativity and patience. This activity challenged us to use beans to create unique art pieces, fostering a sense of creativity and patience within the team.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed a blend of intellectual challenges, adrenaline-pumping rides, and artistic expression, all of which contributed to a memorable team building experience.

In the afternoon, we shifted to the Bean Art Battle area. The table was filled with colorful beans, and we needed to patiently paste them onto the drawing board according to the provided patterns, eventually completing exquisite works of art. This process not only tested our patience and attention to detail but also stimulated endless creativity. Looking at the art pieces completed by our own hands, we felt a sense of achievement and pride in our team.
**Indoor Curling: A Combination of Strategy and Strength**
Subsequently, we arrived at the indoor curling area to experience the charm of a winter Olympic event. Although indoors, the ice surface was smooth as a mirror, making us feel as if we were in a real curling competition. Each push required precise calculation and team coordination to slide the curling stone steadily towards the target area. This activity not only trained our physical coordination and strength but also made us deeply realize the importance of teamwork.
**Cup Dance: Resonance of Rhythm and Harmony**
As night fell, we sat in a circle and began learning the Cup Dance. With the rhythm of the music, the cups in our hands flipped and flew, producing a crisp and pleasant sound. From initial awkwardness to later perfect coordination, every successful collaboration filled us with cheers and joy. The cup dance not only allowed us to feel the charm of music but also subtly strengthened our team’s cohesion and centripetal force.
**Karaoke: A Perfect Ending in Laughter and Song**
Finally, we concluded our memorable team building journey in the karaoke area with laughter and song.
